The Winged Hussars (Husaria) were the pride of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and one of the best cavalry formations in 17th century Europe. Their thunderous charges were able to break any enemy. Hussars were mounted on finest horses and wielded a variety of weapons: saber, estoc, pistols, and the famous kopia (lance) which was a trademark weapon of the whole formation.
