AFRIKA KORPS   [German Afrika Korps Soldiers and Hostiles]

Created and sent across the sea to reinforce their Italian allies against the juggernaut of the Allied Commonwealth forces in North Africa, the Deutsches Afrika Korps were led by the charismatic Generalfeldmarschall Erwin Rommel. Under his inspirational leadership, they fought in some of the fiercest campaigns in World War II in Libya and Egypt, and were both feared and respected by their opponents.
