1812: Napoleon’s Fateful March

1812: Napoleon’s Fateful March is a 2-player operational wargame from Vuca Simulations covering Napoleon’s invasion of Russia. One player commands the French Grande Armée as it advances deeper into Russia, while the other directs the Russian response, falling back, preserving forces, and exploiting the brutal geography and logistics of the campaign.

The game uses a card-driven system with secret order placement, creating constant tension and limited downtime. Rather than focusing only on battlefield clashes, 1812 puts strong emphasis on logistics, march attrition, operational planning, and the terrible strain of campaigning across Russia. Players must decide when to advance, when to fight, when to withdraw, and whether Moscow will become Napoleon’s prize or the beginning of disaster.

This is a standalone 2-player historical wargame.

Contents include: a two-piece box, one mounted map, 108 poker-size cards, four A4 player aid sheets, 14 leader screens, four counter sheets with 320 counters, one sticker sheet, a 24-page A4 playbook, a 20-page A4 rulebook, 57 wooden blocks, 21 wooden cylinders, one six-sided die, two custom dice, and 15 PVC standee holders.
