Advanced Squad Leader: Objective – Schmidt

This is an expansion module for the Advanced Squad Leader system, not a standalone game. Ownership of Beyond Valor and Yanks is required to play all included scenarios.

Objective: Schmidt covers the bitter fighting in the Hürtgen Forest in November 1944, as the U.S. 28th Infantry Division fought for Schmidt, Kommerscheidt, and Vossenack. The module includes multiple historical maps, a campaign game, and a substantial set of scenarios focused on the dense terrain, brutal attrition, and difficult tactical decisions of the battle.

Contents include: 17 scenarios, including a campaign game covering the battle for Kommerscheidt over 7 campaign game dates, 576 die-cut 1/2" counters, 88 die-cut 5/8" counters, two 22" x 34" HASL map sheets for Vossenack, four 22" x 34" HASL map sheets for Schmidt and Kommerscheidt, an article on slopes in ASL, vehicle and ordnance notes, historical battle rules, map terrain rules, campaign game rules, and a divider card.
