ASL Action Pack #17: Oktoberfest XXXV

ASL Action Pack #17: Oktoberfest XXXV adds two geomorphic mapboards and 16 scenarios to the Advanced Squad Leader system.

The pack focuses on the U.S. 1st Cavalry Division, known as “The First Team,” across two different wars. The scenarios begin in the Pacific during World War II, with actions on Los Negros Island and Leyte, then move to the Korean War, where the division fights North Korean and Communist Chinese forces from the Pusan Perimeter through the hard battles of 1950 and 1951.

The scenario set offers a wide spread of situations, from island fighting against Japanese forces to Korean War actions involving American, North Korean, Communist Chinese, and Allied troops. It is designed to provide varied tactical challenges for experienced ASL players, with plenty of different force mixes, terrain problems, and combat conditions.

Released for ASL Oktoberfest XXXV, this action pack is especially useful for players who want more First Cavalry Division scenarios and additional geomorphic mapboards for their ASL collection.

Requires: the Advanced Squad Leader core game system. This is not a standalone product.

Contents include: two 8" x 22" geomorphic mapboards, 87 and 88, and 16 ASL scenarios, AP175–AP190.
