Axis Empires: Dai Senso!

Axis Empires: Dai Senso! is a strategic World War II board wargame from Decision Games covering the war in Asia and the Pacific from 1937 to 1945. It begins with the border clashes at Marco Polo Bridge and Nomonhan, then expands through China, Southeast Asia, the Pacific islands, Midway, Guadalcanal, Leyte, and the final firestorms over Japan.

Using the playable and unpredictable Krieg! system, Dai Senso! presents Japan’s war from a broad strategic perspective. As Imperial Japan, players must decide where to strike first: China, the Soviet Union, the British Empire, the United States, or some dangerous combination of them all. Card play drives major strategic options, diplomacy, mobilization, escalation, and the shift from limited war to total war.
