Blitz in the East: Scorched Earth Expansion adds new events, markers, rules, and scenarios to VentoNuovo’s Blitz in the East: The Russian Campaign 1941–45.

The expansion deepens the strategic and logistical side of the Eastern Front. New event cards and rules introduce extra historical pressure and “what if” possibilities, including scorched earth, evacuation of industry, partisans, Festungs, Turkey joining the Axis, and more. These additions give players more ways to shape the campaign while increasing the uncertainty and long-term consequences of each decision.

Scorched Earth is a good fit for players who already know Blitz in the East and want a richer, more detailed version of the campaign, with additional logistics, political options, and scenario variety.

Contents include: 125 thick pre-rounded game markers, 28 game event cards, illustrated rules with examples, two historical scenarios, and two alternative “what if” scenarios.
