Campaigning is seasonal, with most major action taking place in summer and fall, keeping the pace brisk while still allowing meaningful planning and maneuver.

The system emphasizes coalition dynamics as much as battlefield success. Allies often depend on each other for support, funding, and coordination, but their long-term goals may not fully align.
