Death Ride: Halfaya Pass

Death Ride: Halfaya Pass is a standalone World War II wargame in Grognard Simulations’ Death Ride system, focused on tactical-level combat during Operation Battleaxe in North Africa.

The British player must push aggressively through German anti-tank defenses to clear the Halfaya Pass, while the German player has to hold on and make every position count. The battle gives the Commonwealth Matildas their moment in the sun—right up until they meet the German 88s.

The system focuses on company and platoon-level combined-arms combat, with attention to battlefield functions such as command, logistics, air operations, maintenance, and support. It is designed to be playable in a day and works well for solitaire play, making it a good entry point into the Death Ride line.
