Designed by Major Pat Reid, one of the few prisoners of war to escape Colditz Castle, and screenwriter Brian Degas, Escape from Colditz challenges players to plan daring escape attempts from one of the most famous prisoner-of-war castles of the Second World War.

The Allied players act as escape officers, gathering equipment, plotting routes, coordinating plans, and trying to slip past the guards. The German security officer must watch, react, and maintain control with limited resources. This anniversary edition includes both the original and updated rules, new artwork, upgraded components, and historical material about Colditz and the people behind the game.

Contents include: oversized board, 56 wooden playing pieces, 100 illustrated cards, original and updated rules, 32-page history book, and replica prison artefacts.
