FAB Golan 73

FAB: Golan ’73 is an operational battle game in GMT’s Fast Action Battles series, covering the Syrian assault on the Golan Heights during the Yom Kippur War.

Players command highly mechanized Israeli and Syrian forces across difficult terrain, where timing, reserves, air power, and breakthrough opportunities all matter. The Syrian player begins with a powerful attacking force and must strike quickly to seize objectives before Israeli reserves and air superiority build up. The Israeli player starts under heavy pressure and must delay, reinforce, and counterattack at the right moment.

This volume brings the FAB system into modern warfare, adding assets such as SAMs, mortars, anti-tank guns, helicopters, electronic warfare, missile strikes, and battle-specific events. Terrain such as wadis, escarpments, and the anti-tank ditch give the battlefield its own character.
