Fighters of the Pacific is a tactical World War II air-combat game set over the Pacific.

Players command squadrons of fighters, bombers, and torpedo aircraft, moving individual aircraft across a large modular hex battlefield. Instead of dice or rulers, the game focuses on positioning, firing arcs, formations, and aircraft abilities. If you line up an enemy plane in your sights, it must dodge or take damage.

Aircraft can dogfight, attack carriers, strike islands, launch torpedoes, and bomb ground installations. The base game focuses on carrier warfare in 1942 and includes American and Japanese aircraft carriers, destroyers, aircraft tokens, scenarios, rules, and reference sheets.

Fast-moving, visual, and scenario-driven, Fighters of the Pacific sits nicely between board wargame and aircraft miniatures-style combat, without requiring painted models or a large measuring-table setup.
