Guild Academies of Valeria

Guild Academies of Valeria is a standalone strategy board game set in the Valeria universe.

Players are rival headmasters building academies, recruiting students, hiring guildmasters, and gaining influence with council ministers. Students are represented by dice, which can be drafted, trained, manipulated, and eventually graduated. The best graduates can be sent on royal quests, while others are directed to the capital to build your academy’s reputation in different ways.

The game combines action selection, dice drafting, dice manipulation, tile drafting, resource management, engine building, and contract fulfilment. Council ministers add an extra scoring layer, letting players shape which parts of their academy matter most by the end of the game.

This is a puzzley engine builder with plenty of tactical decisions and replay value, especially for players who enjoy building efficient systems over several plays.
