One player commands William of Normandy and his invading army. The other commands King Harold’s Saxon forces defending the ridge at Hastings. The game is designed to be bloody, accessible, and easy to learn while still including key historical details such as cavalry charges, morale by troop type, leader loss, arrow supply, Saxon javelins, and the Papal banner.
Originally published as Senlac Hill by Saxon Games, this Revolution Games edition develops the rules further and adds new artwork by Charles Kibler. It is a compact medieval battle game for players who want a focused treatment of Hastings without a large rules burden.
Contents include: 11” x 17” map, 140 die-cut counters, 12-page rulebook, 2 player aids, and ziplock bag.
