Legion of Honor (Ziplock)

Legion of Honor is a card-driven game from Clash of Arms about personal ambition during the Napoleonic Wars. Rather than commanding an army, each player follows the career of a French soldier trying to rise from humble beginnings to rank, wealth, glory or high honour.

Starting in 1792, players guide their grognards through more than twenty years of war, opportunity and danger, set against the historical background of the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic era. Fate may bring promotion, distinction and fortune — or failure, disgrace and an early end to a promising career.

Victory can be achieved in several ways, including earning the highest honour in the Legion of Honor, reaching the highest military rank, or accumulating the most glory or wealth. The game supports solitaire play as well as multiplayer sessions for up to six players.

Contents include: 200 colour playing cards, 140 counters, rulebook with summary sheet, player ledger sheets, campaign and opportunity sheets, and historical reference sheets.
