The compendium brings together articles, maps, scenarios, and new material for modern-era LnLT titles such as Heroes of the Nam, Heroes of the Falklands, Heroes Against the Red Star, and Day of Heroes. Articles cover forces, tactics, modern tank warfare, Vietnam LRRP operations, and historical background that helps players get more from the scenarios and modules they already own.

Scenario content is a major part of the package, with battles ranging from Vietnam in 1972 to the Falklands in 1982 and Cold War gone hot actions in 1985.
