The Battle of North Kursk

The Battle of North Kursk is an operational World War II wargame covering the northern pincer of the Battle of Kursk in 1943.

The game focuses on the fighting between Model’s German 9th Army and 2nd Panzer Army and Rokossovsky’s Soviet Central Front from 5 July to 4 August 1943. It covers the German drive south toward Kursk as well as the Soviet counterattack from the east against Mtsensk.

Each turn represents four days, with the system using an area-based approach similar in spirit to Storm over Stalingrad.

Contents include: 1 33" x 23" game map, 2 counter sheets, 40 cards, 1 rules booklet, and 2 dice.
