The Epic Battle of Alesia recreates Caesar’s famous 52 BCE battle against Vercingetorix and the Gauls. Roman forces must hold their siege works against both the besieged Gauls inside Alesia and the massive relief army arriving from outside.

Inspired by classic old-school wargame design, this Worthington edition gives players a large mounted battlefield and an epic ancient warfare situation built around pressure from both sides of the Roman fortifications. It is best suited to players who enjoy large-table historical battles and dramatic siege-and-relief situations.

Contents include: large 34" x 44" hard-mounted game board, counters, rules, player aid material, and game box.
