The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – Revised Core Set is a cooperative Living Card Game for 1 to 4 players. Players assemble a fellowship of heroes, allies, attachments, and events, then work together against scenario decks that represent the dangers of Middle-earth.

The Revised Core Set is the best starting point for new players. It includes enough cards and components for four players straight out of the box, along with quality-of-life improvements over the original core set and campaign cards that link the included scenarios into a more connected adventure.

Players can use the included starter decks, then move into deck construction by combining heroes and player cards in different ways. Because this is a Living Card Game, expansions add fixed sets of cards and quests rather than random booster packs.

This is a complete core set and the required base game for revised Lord of the Rings LCG expansions.
