The Necronomicon Gamebook Trilogy

Step into the shoes of an investigator braving cosmic horror with The Necronomicon Gamebook Trilogy by Officina Meningi! Written by Valentino Sergi, this award-winning interactive solo RPG series adapts the iconic mythos works of H.P. Lovecraft, Robert W. Chambers, and Ambrose Bierce into a gripping "choose-your-own-path" survival experience.

Armed with only a six-sided die, a pencil, and your fragile sanity, you will decode forgotten manuscripts, manage character stats like Vigor and Willpower, cast eldritch spells, and navigate branching nightmares across three complete volumes: Dagon, Carcosa, and Kadath.

Interactive Cosmic Horror Fiction at its Finest

Combining classic gamebook mechanics (in the style of Fighting Fantasy and Lone Wolf) with authentic Lovecraftian prose, The Necronomicon Gamebook Trilogy puts the fate of humanity—and your character's mind—directly in your hands.

Each decision branches the storyline, forcing players to balance physical survival against creeping madness as they investigate ritual cults, surreal dreamscapes, and ancient alien entities.

The Three Chapters of the Saga

• Book I: Dagon: Adaptations of Lovecraft's seminal tales, placing you in eerie coastal towns and cursed Yule rituals where ancestral horrors emerge from the depths.
• Book II: Carcosa: Expands into the King in Yellow mythos, pulling elements from Robert W. Chambers and Ambrose Bierce alongside Lovecraft's lore as you navigate decadent, reality-warping madness.
• Book III: Kadath: Takes the journey into the Dreamlands, broadening the mechanics to let players wander surreal, shifting landscapes in search of the unknown Kadath.

Gameplay & Mechanics

• Streamlined d6 System: Mechanics rely on a simple 1d6 roll added to your attributes, resolved against difficulty thresholds and combat comparison tables.
• Vigor & Willpower Management: Balance your physical health (Vigor) against your psychological resilience (Willpower). Using arcana or witnessing cosmic horrors drains sanity quickly.
• Artifacts & Spells: Discover pages of the Necronomicon to learn forbidden spells that provide tactical advantages at high Sanity costs.
