18 India is an operational railroad game for 2 to 5 players set during the development of India’s railways. Players act as investors and company directors, building routes, managing companies, purchasing trains, trading shares, and competing to finish the game with the greatest personal wealth.

Inspired by 1829 Mainline, 18 India transforms many of that system’s random elements into pre-game variability, giving each session a different mix of companies and investment opportunities. The game includes track gauge changes, Guarantee Companies, commodity contracts, exclusive stock options, train trade-ins, a unique IPO display, and track upgrades available from the start. Trains do not rust, but there is still a race to acquire better trains and build competitive route networks.

Contents include: mounted map, 239 track tiles, train/open market board, round marker, Guaranty Warrants, player money mats, company randomization cards, Royal Bond certificates, commodity tokens, gauge change markers, private company certificates, company charters, company tokens, company certificates, train cards, turn order cards, wooden cubes, and play money.
