Advanced Squad Leader: Slaughter at Ponyri

This is an expansion module, not a standalone game. A copy of the Advanced Squad Leader Rulebook and Beyond Valor is required to play.

Slaughter at Ponyri is a Historical Advanced Squad Leader module covering the brutal fighting around Ponyri during Operation Zitadelle, the German attack against the northern shoulder of the Kursk salient. The module focuses on the three most crucial days of the battle, from 7 to 9 July 1943, when German forces under Army Group Center fought through the village and surrounding positions in what became known as the “Stalingrad of Kursk.”

The module includes a large historical map, individual scenarios, and a Campaign Game covering six Campaign Game dates across the three-day battle. Special rules and counters cover German sappers, elite Soviet Airborne troops, mine belts, fanatic outposts, and the combined-arms pressure of the fighting around Ponyri.

Contents include: four maps, eight countersheets, one Chapter SP rules booklet, 12 scenarios, one Campaign Game, three Chapter Dividers, and box with lid.
