ASL Königsberg – The Bear’s Revenge

ASL Königsberg – The Bear’s Revenge is an ASL-compatible Tactical Mission Pack from Lone Canuck Publishing, covering the Soviet Third Byelorussian Front’s assault on Königsberg in 1945.

Königsberg was one of the great German fortress cities, defended by concentric rings of fortifications, forts, anti-tank defences, barricades, mines, and prepared urban positions. The module gives players a tactical-level treatment of the fighting as Soviet forces push into this heavily fortified city against determined German resistance.

The pack includes a large historical map split into two halves, along with counters, historical background, special rules, six scenarios, and one Tactical Mission, functioning as a campaign game. The scenario mix includes small, medium, and very large actions, giving ASL players several ways to approach the battle.

This is a substantial historical-map ASL module for players interested in late-war urban combat, fortress assaults, Soviet combined-arms attacks, and campaign-style tactical play.

Requires: the Advanced Squad Leader core game system, Beyond Valor, Red Barricades, Valor of the Guards, and Festung Budapest. This is not a standalone product.

Contents include: one 48" x 34" historical map split into two halves, 280 1/2" counters, 88 5/8" counters, historical write-up, KBR rules, one Tactical Mission / campaign game, and six ASL scenarios.
