ASL Rising Sun: 2022 Edition

ASL Rising Sun: 2022 Edition brings Advanced Squad Leader back to the jungles, islands, and atolls of the Pacific Theatre.

This major ASL module combines the original Code of Bushido and Gung Ho! modules into one package. It includes the Japanese, Chinese, and United States Marine Corps orders of battle, along with revised Pacific Theatre rules in Chapter G, updated Chapter H notes for Japanese and Chinese vehicles and ordnance, and landing craft material.

The scenario package includes 32 updated scenarios, combining the original Code of Bushido and Gung Ho! scenarios with 16 previously out-of-print PTO scenarios from The General, ASL Annual, and ASL Journal. Scenario errata and balance updates have been incorporated.

Also included is the Sand and Blood Gavutu-Tanambogo campaign game from the ASL ’93b Annual, with a new 17" x 22" historical map and Chapter Z pages. Seven geomorphic mapboards and a large set of overlays round out the package, updated to match the modern ASL board style.

This is an essential module for ASL players who want the full Pacific Theatre experience, including Japanese, Chinese, and U.S. Marine Corps forces, jungle terrain, amphibious operations, caves, landing craft, and island fighting.

Requires: the Advanced Squad Leader core game system. This is not a standalone product.

Contents include: revised Chapter G, Chapter H for Japanese, Chinese, and landing craft, Chapter Z for the Gavutu-Tanambogo campaign game, 1,300 1/2" counters, 592 5/8" counters, boards 34–39 and 47, the Gavutu-Tanambogo HASL map, extensive overlay sets, and 32 ASL scenarios.
