Barbarossa Deluxe

Barbarossa Deluxe is a two-player strategic World War II wargame from Decision Games covering the full Russo-German War from 1941 to 1945. Designed by Ty Bomba, it is a “mini-monster” game of intermediate complexity, using large-scale maps and counters to portray the entire Eastern Front campaign.

The German player attempts to do better than history by advancing quickly enough to trigger the political, social, economic, and military collapse of the Soviet Union. The Soviet player must survive the early crisis, rebuild strength, and carry out a strategic comeback that may end the war sooner than it did historically.

The game includes six scenarios: the Grand Campaign, 1941–45; The Road Back, 1942–45; Operations Blue & Kremlin, 1942; Operation Citadel, 1943; What If: Manstein’s Gambit, 1943; and What If: 1942.

Contents include: two 22×34 inch maps, 352 counters, and a 32-page full-color rules booklet.
