Battalion S3: Operations and Training is a magazine-format release dedicated to the Battalion Combat Series. Its included game, Danger Forward, covers the Battle of Gela during Operation Husky in July 1943, as Axis forces attempted to drive the American landing force back into the sea.

The game is designed as an accessible entry point into BCS, with a single map, a manageable number of formations, and a short three-turn campaign, while still offering veteran players a dynamic and replayable battlefield.

Contents include: 40+ page magazine with Danger Forward game rules, two BCS Charts and Tables, one 22" x 34" full-colour map, and 176 5/8" counters.
