BattleTech: A Game of Armored Combat

BattleTech: A Game of Armored Combat is the main boxed starter set for classic BattleTech. After the beginner-level intro products, this is where players step into the full tabletop game of BattleMech combat.

Players command towering BattleMechs across hex maps, managing movement, heat, armour, weapons, and tactical positioning as rival MechWarriors fight for control of the battlefield. The box is designed as a complete entry point for two-player classic BattleTech play, while also serving as a strong foundation for expanding into more ’Mechs, scenarios, campaigns, fiction, and the wider BattleTech universe.

This is a standalone starter product and includes what you need to begin playing classic BattleTech.

Contents include: eight fully assembled unpainted miniatures — Awesome, BattleMaster, Catapult, Commando, Locust, Shadow Hawk, Thunderbolt, and Wolverine — one full-colour rulebook, record sheets, eight double-sided dry-erase Alpha Strike cards, eight double-sided MechWarrior cards, a 16-page universe primer, the 24-page novella Eyestorm, two double-sided 18″ x 22″ mapsheets, and two six-sided dice.
