Blood on the Ohio: The Northwest Indian War 1789-1794 is a two-player point-to-point wargame from Compass Games covering the violent frontier struggle between the early United States and a confederation of Native nations in the Ohio territory.

One player commands U.S. regulars and frontier militia, while the other leads Native warriors fighting to resist American expansion beyond the Ohio River. The game includes three separate expedition scenarios and one campaign scenario, allowing players to focus on individual military efforts or the wider course of the conflict.

Turns are divided into six-month periods, with players alternating special actions such as building, raiding and negotiation before moving into movement and combat. The design gives particular attention to raiding, militia morale, leader tactical ratings and a three-die combat system, creating a tense contest where local actions can have wider strategic consequences.
