Blood Red Skies: Aichi D3A ‘Val’ & Nakajima B5N ‘Kate’ Squadron adds Japanese carrier strike aircraft to Blood Red Skies.

The Aichi D3A “Val” was Japan’s carrier dive bomber, while the Nakajima B5N “Kate” was its main torpedo bomber. Used together, these aircraft became central to Japanese naval air doctrine, with dive bombers disrupting enemy defenses while torpedo bombers made their attack runs.

In Blood Red Skies, this squadron pack gives Japanese players a mixed strike force for Pacific carrier-war scenarios, especially Pearl Harbor, Midway, and other naval aviation battles where bombers and torpedo aircraft are the focus rather than pure fighter combat.
