Blood Red Skies: Douglas Dauntless & Devastator Squadron adds US Navy SBD Dauntless dive bombers and TBD Devastator torpedo bombers to Blood Red Skies.

At the Battle of Midway, the US Navy relied heavily on the SBD Dauntless and TBD Devastator. The Devastator was already outdated by 1942, but its torpedo attacks helped draw Japanese fighter cover away from the Dauntless dive bombers, whose attacks crippled the Japanese carrier force.

In Blood Red Skies, this squadron pack gives US players a mixed strike force built around bombing and torpedo attacks rather than pure fighter combat. It is especially useful for Pacific carrier-war scenarios and Midway-themed games.
