Combat! Volume 1, Second Printing

Combat! Volume 1 is a solitaire WWII tactical game from Compass Games focused on man-to-man combat. You control a U.S. squad in June 1944, while the German opposition is handled by the game’s card-driven enemy AI system.

Each turn, you assign orders to your soldiers, manage initiative and then watch the action unfold across four impulses. Enemy soldiers receive their own AI-driven orders, creating a battlefield that feels unpredictable and narrative without needing a second player. Every soldier is represented individually, with names, morale, wounds, orders and other markers helping each scenario develop its own story.

The game includes 14 scenarios, ranging from farmhouse assaults and hill defenses to artillery raids, resistance rescues and desperate last stands. Random events, variable enemy forces and scenario options give Combat! Volume 1 strong replay value for solo players who enjoy tactical decisions and emergent battlefield drama.

This second printing includes updated map artwork, improved counters, and updated rule and scenario books.
