Players represent the campaigns of John Quincy Adams, Andrew Jackson, William H. Crawford, and Henry Clay as they compete for popular support, state influence, and political advantages.

The 1824 election was the first U.S. presidential election in which no candidate secured an Electoral College majority. With the decision moving to the House of Representatives and only the top three candidates eligible, Clay’s influence as Speaker of the House became decisive. The game turns that unusual political crisis into a tactical card-driven contest with multiple paths to victory.

Contents include: a mounted game board of the United States in 1824 and 200 cards, including 80 event cards covering the election and the wider period. Games generally play in 60–90 minutes.
