Dungeons & Dragons: Wrath of Ashardalon is a cooperative dungeon-crawling board game for 1–5 players, set in the world of Dungeons & Dragons. Players choose heroes, explore dungeon tiles, fight monsters, collect treasure, complete scenario objectives, and work together to survive the dangers beneath Firestorm Peak.

Deep inside the monster-filled labyrinth waits Ashardalon, a terrifying red dragon. The game includes multiple scenarios and challenging quests, with players revealing new dungeon tiles as they explore and facing monsters, encounters, traps, and other hazards along the way. It is part of the Dungeons & Dragons Adventure System board game line and can be played on its own.

Contents include: 42 plastic heroes and monsters, 13 sheets of interlocking cardstock dungeon tiles, 200 encounter and treasure cards, 1 rulebook, 1 scenario book, and 1 twenty-sided die.
