La Bataille de Ligny 2nd Edition (Boxless / Ziplock)

La Bataille de Ligny 2nd Edition is a detailed Napoleonic wargame from Clash of Arms, covering the Battle of Ligny on 16 June 1815. This was Napoleon’s last great victory, as the French Armée du Nord struck the Prussian Army of the Lower Rhine during the opening moves of the Waterloo campaign.

The game recreates the battle across four large period maps, with nearly 1,000 counters representing the French and Prussian forces. It is suitable for solitaire study, head-to-head play or team play, and can be combined with La Bataille des Quatre Bras to recreate the wider events of 16 June 1815.

As part of the La Bataille series, this is a serious and highly detailed treatment of Napoleonic battlefield command. It is best suited to experienced players who enjoy formation, timing, command friction and the full drama of large Napoleonic engagements.

Scale: 100 metres per hex, 20 minutes per game turn, with strength points representing roughly 50–100 men.
