La Bataille de Wavre Expansion

La Bataille de Wavre Expansion completes Clash of Arms’ La Bataille treatment of the Waterloo campaign, alongside Ligny, Quatre-Bras and Mont St. Jean. The game covers the actions of the right wing of Napoleon’s Armée du Nord on 18 June 1815, as French forces engaged the Prussians away from the main battlefield at Waterloo.

Wavre can be played independently as its own battle, or linked with La Bataille de Mont St. Jean to resolve the wider events of 18 June simultaneously. That makes it especially appealing for experienced La Bataille players who want to explore the complete operational picture of Napoleon’s final campaign.

Scale: 100 metres per hex, 20 minutes per game turn, with strength points representing roughly 50–100 men.

Requires: La Bataille de Mont St. Jean Deluxe Edition or La Bataille de Ligny for counters. This expansion does not include counters.
