Napoleon’s Imperium 1798-1815

Napoleon’s Imperium 1798–1815 is a grand strategic Napoleonic wargame designed for large, team-based battles across Europe and North Africa.

Players command different empires within two opposing alliances, each with its own economy, geography, strengths, and weaknesses. Success depends not only on battlefield results, but on cooperation between allies, timing offensives, managing resources, and exploiting each empire’s position on the map.

The game uses yearly turns with purchase, attack, and movement phases, supported by Battle Cards that introduce historical events, treaties, upheaval, fog of war, and sudden opportunities. Optional weather rules add another layer of uncertainty, capable of ruining a brilliant plan or saving an empire at the last possible moment.

With support for up to eight players, Napoleon’s Imperium is best suited to groups that enjoy negotiation, alliance play, large maps, and plenty of battles. It can be played as a shorter Battle Point game or expanded into a longer campaign for players who want the full imperial struggle.

Contents include: two paper maps forming a 34” x 44” playing area, two 80-card Battle Card decks, one 80-card Battle Point deck, one Battle Point Card replacement board, six sheets of 130 oversized counters each, eight player aid cards, one Battle Point Card and weather pad, two map counter placement reference cards, a 40-page rules booklet, twenty 10-sided dice, and a box with lid.
