Panzer Grenadier: Leyte 1944

Panzer Grenadier: Leyte 1944 is an expansion book for Avalanche Press’ Panzer Grenadier: Saipan 1944, covering the American invasion of Leyte in the Philippines. The campaign began in October 1944, when U.S. forces landed as part of MacArthur’s return to the Philippines, and continued through fierce Japanese resistance until the island was secured in December.

The expansion adds 45 new scenarios focused on the fighting for Leyte, with American, Japanese and Special Naval Landing Force units represented. New pieces include Japanese paratroopers, American paratroopers, flame-throwing Sherman tanks and other forces needed for the campaign.

This is a strong addition for Panzer Grenadier players interested in the Pacific theatre, island campaigns and late-war fighting in the Philippines.

Contents include: one expansion book and 88 die-cut playing pieces.

Requires: Panzer Grenadier: Saipan 1944 and Marianas 1944 to play all scenarios.
