Originally published in limited quantities as Plan West by 3 Crown Games, this Revolution Games edition updates the game with new art, additional testing, and further development.

The game covers the first ten days of the Polish campaign, from 1 to 10 September 1939, when Polish armies still met German forces in the open terrain of Poland and the mobility and firepower of mechanized warfare were demonstrated on a large scale.

The Polish player must hold key cities and delay the invasion, while the German player must keep to a rapid operational timetable. Using the same basic chit-pull system as Königsberg, with campaign-specific rules for German air interdiction and ground attack aircraft, Poland Defiant creates a tense contest of timing, pressure, and resistance.
