Raiders of the Deep: U-Boats of the Great War, 1914–18 is a solitaire tactical game placing you in command of a German U-boat during World War I.

Based on the Hunters game system, the game follows your commander across repeated patrols as you hunt Allied shipping, manage torpedoes and ammunition, survive combat, and try to return safely to port. Success brings promotions, crew improvement, and the chance to earn prestigious awards, while damage, injury, and refits shape the rhythm of your career.

The game captures the distinctive nature of the First U-boat War, including political restrictions, evolving anti-submarine tactics, depth charges, naval aviation, and different operating theaters.
