Schnell Boats: Scourge of the English Channel is a solitaire tactical WWII naval game from Compass Games. This copy has a lightly damaged box, but the game components are complete and unaffected.

As Kommandant, you command a squadron of four German Kriegsmarine torpedo boats during night operations in the English Channel from June 1943 to June 1944. Your main task is to intercept Allied cargo ships and tankers moving men and supplies, while avoiding enemy air patrols, Royal Navy gunboats, bad weather and the constant risk of damage or loss.

The game models individual boats, crews, weapons and equipment, including engines, radios, cannons and bilge pumps. Crewmen can be wounded or killed, surviving crews can improve, and your squadron must be managed between missions with repairs and boat assignments. Special missions such as minelaying or search and rescue add variety to the campaign.

Most patrols play in around 20-30 minutes, while the full campaign lets you follow your squadron across months of operations. Schnell Boats is built for solitaire play, with enough detail and randomness to make each mission feel different.
