Slaughterhouse

Slaughterhouse is a standalone ATO/LPS wargame on Operation Barbarossa and the German drive toward Moscow in 1941.

Originally part of Against the Odds Annual 2010: Four Roads to Moscow, Slaughterhouse is Michael Rinella’s treatment of the German invasion of the Soviet Union. Where the full Annual included four different designs on Barbarossa, this separate edition presents Slaughterhouse as an individual game.

The game uses a point-to-point / area-movement system to emphasize the limited routes available to German forces as they fought their way east. It also highlights the constant attrition suffered by both sides in a campaign defined by distance, pressure, and brutal losses.

Compact and focused, Slaughterhouse gives players one of the four original Four Roads to Moscow perspectives on why Barbarossa failed.

Contents include: one full-color 17” x 22” map, 108 mounted and die-cut 9/16” counters, and complete rules.
