Space Empires: Replicators 2nd Printing

Space Empires: Replicators is the second expansion for Space Empires 4X, adding new variety without greatly increasing playtime.

The headline addition is the Replicator empire: self-replicating machines that play very differently from standard empires. They can be used as a fifth player, as an alternative empire in competitive games, as a cooperative opponent, or as a solitaire opponent. Their different economy and development style make them a useful change of pace for experienced players.

The expansion also adds terrain tiles, giving explored space a cleaner and more visual board presence. A new Resource deck introduces events and tactical surprises, while new deep-space features, empire advantages, advanced ships, and technologies expand the late-game possibilities.

For solo players, the included Replicator solitaire system is especially useful, offering a flexible opponent that can be used on standard map layouts.
