Successors: Fourth Edition is a card-driven strategy wargame about the wars that followed the death of Alexander the Great.

When Alexander died in 323 BC, his empire had no clear heir. The Macedonian generals who had conquered the world together soon turned on one another, first claiming to preserve Alexander’s legacy, then carving out kingdoms of their own.

Players control rival factions of Alexander’s former army, competing through military campaigns, political legitimacy, control of key provinces, and the dangerous perception of becoming too powerful too soon. Successors: Fourth Edition updates the classic multiplayer wargame with revised components, expanded scenarios, support for up to five players, and a more developed presentation of the struggle between the Diadochi.

Contents include: revised game board, updated cards, rewritten rulebook, playbook, additional scenarios, new cards, and 23 large plastic miniatures.
