This World War II naval-air wargame recreates carrier and surface operations in the Pacific Theatre. Players command Japanese and Allied task forces, search for enemy fleets, launch air strikes, manage carrier aircraft, and try to strike decisively before their own forces are found.

The scenario structure introduces the system step by step, beginning with more accessible tutorial-style engagements before moving into larger and more demanding carrier battles. With fleet markers, dummy forces, aircraft status sheets, and task force formation displays, the game focuses strongly on uncertainty, reconnaissance, timing, and the dangerous vulnerability of aircraft carriers at sea.

Contents include: one rulebook, one scenario book, four map sheets, 180 large counters, 408 square counters, two player aid charts, two fleet formation sheets, one airbase sheet, one turn track, and two six-sided dice.
