The included game, The Great European War 1941–1943, is a two-player strategic wargame based on the premise that Germany does not invade the Soviet Union in June 1941. Instead, the Axis pursues a wider air, naval, and Mediterranean strategy against Britain and its allies, while the Soviet Union remains a dangerous potential participant.

Players command the Axis and Allied sides, including the Western Allies and the Soviet Union. Both sides can develop their orders of battle through mobilization, creating a war in Europe that develops very differently from history. The game covers the early and mid-war period before the full Allied buildup, ending in 1943.

Components include: one 22×34 inch map and 280 half-inch die-cut counters.
