Zero Leader

Zero Leader is a solitaire WWII air combat game in DVG’s Air Leader series, placing you in command of Japanese naval and army air units across the Pacific War.

As the player, you lead pilots of the Imperial Japanese Navy and Imperial Japanese Army Air Service through historical campaigns ranging from Pearl Harbor and Midway to Leyte Gulf, Okinawa, and the defense of the Japanese home islands. You choose aircraft, assign pilots, manage skills and stress, and carry out dangerous missions while the game system controls enemy actions.

The game includes many famous Japanese aircraft, including the A6M Zero, D3A Val, B5N Kate, G4M Betty, Ki-84 Frank, Ki-43 Oscar, Ki-61 Tony, J2M Jack, and others. Campaign decisions may include the use of Betty bombers carrying Ohka rocket bombs and late-war special attack missions, reflecting the increasingly desperate nature of the Pacific air war.

Like other Air Leader games, Zero Leader is designed for solitaire play from the ground up. It offers campaign-driven decision-making, pilot development, aircraft management, tactical missions, and long-term operational pressure without requiring an opponent.
