ASL Forgotten War: Korea 1950–1953

ASL Forgotten War: Korea 1950–1953 takes Advanced Squad Leader beyond the Second World War for a full module treatment of the Korean War.

The module introduces United Nations and Communist forces from the conflict, including Republic of Korea troops, Other United Nations Command forces, U.S. Army and Marine Corps units, British and Commonwealth forces, the Korean People’s Army, and the Chinese People’s Volunteer Army.

New Korean War rules cover steep hills, bayonet charges, proximity fuzes, and enhanced air support, including Tactical Air Control Parties, airborne Forward Air Controllers, and jet aircraft such as the F-80C Shooting Star and F9F-2 Panther. The module also adds Chapter W rules for the Korean War and Chapter H rules for the new and expanded nationalities.

With seven countersheets, four mapboards, and 16 scenarios, Forgotten War is a major ASL module for players who want to explore Korea’s rugged terrain, new national characteristics, and post-WWII tactical combat within the ASL system.

Requires: the Advanced Squad Leader core game system. This is not a standalone product.

Contents include: seven countersheets, four 8" x 22" maps, 16 ASL scenarios, Chapter W Korean War rules, Chapter H rules for American, Commonwealth, O.U.N.C., R.O.K., K.P.A., and C.P.V.A. forces, two chapter dividers, and one box and lid.
