One side commands American Grumman F4F Wildcats, while the other commands Japanese Mitsubishi A6M2 Zeros, using the game’s Advantage system to represent altitude, position, pilot skill, and tactical momentum.

The box includes rules, dice, tokens, cards, flying bases, and 12 resin aircraft, making it the proper entry point for new players before expanding into additional squadrons such as Hellcats, Dauntlesses, Devastators, Vals, Kates, and Oscars.
