Carentan: 10–13 June 1944 is a small-unit WWII wargame in the Great Battles of Small Units system, covering the fighting for Carentan during the Normandy campaign.

The game includes two scenarios. Purple Heart Lane covers the American 101st Airborne Division’s attempt to take control of Carentan, with an optional rule exploring what might have happened if elements of the 17th SS Panzergrenadier Division had arrived earlier. Battle of Bloody Gulch shifts the focus to the German counterattack, as American paratroopers, supported by units of the 2nd Armored Division, try to hold the town.

The system uses formation activation by card values, creating pressure around timing, limited command options, and difficult tactical choices. Players must manage high-morale units, artillery support, difficult terrain, and the challenge of committing forces at the right moment.

Contents include: 1 420 × 594 mm mapboard, 216 die-cut counters, 1 scenario card, 1 player aid card with terrain table and special rules, series rulebook, and historical introduction. A standard 52-card deck is required and must be supplied by the players.
