This is a tactical battlefield expansion, where players use command cards to activate units and dice to resolve combat across scenario-based engagements. The system emphasizes positioning, timing, and adapting to the cards you hold.

The expansion includes at least sixteen historical scenarios, covering key battles such as Nicaea, Antioch, Hattin, Arsuf, and Jaffa. It introduces new unit types including crossbow infantry, knight infantry, Turcopoles, and heavy cavalry formations, along with additional mechanics such as impetuous pursuit, feigned flight, and specialized cavalry movement.
